Working on your feet for long periods of time is to be expected, as it is primarily your duty to fix what is broken. This may include working in loud industrial places, or mellow office spaces. The typical work hours for a maintenance technician can be from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with after-hours or weekend hours possible.
